What better way to relax in Italy than to wake up every morning, have a nice big breakfast, get dressed and go for a nice long, relaxed… 140 Kilometer bike ride up mountains, down steep roads with the constant fear of losing another riders draft on the flats. Vacation has taken on an entirely new meaning to me. Read more »
2,600 participants …. each had his or her name printed in bold letter on their bib… crowds were cheering for each and every person : “Go Brian!! You can do it Jennifer! It’s the end Mike!” and then I show up, a perplexed look on their face as they see the letters A-N-A-T, they quickly shake their head and yell “Good luck… to you!”.

I must have drooled over at least ten or eleven bikes in the transition area of the National Duathlon Festival. Not only were the bikes spectacular but the level of the athletes and the whole event was much higher than any triathlon or duathlon that I had participated in (minus the expo that left something to be desired). I completed the course in 2:41 and I was 16/30 in my age group. Read more »
On Saturday, I completed the Suntrust National Marathon in one hour, 54 minutes and 14 seconds. This is my third half marathon. The first one was in the lowest place on earth (the Dead Sea), the second was in the capital of Israel (Jerusalem) and this one was in the capital of the United States (You should know, man). There were 2,094 marathon participants and 4,151 half marathon participants. This made the race a bit of a zig zag at times, especially since all of the half marathoners ran together with the marathoners. Either way, it was nice to finally participate in a long distance race and breaking a personal record doesn’t hurt either.

I know what you thought after the last post – “Great, she put one silly photo and some text in an iPhone app and she thinks that she’s programming”. Well, Yee of little faith… behold! HelloPoly!

This is my first iPhone app. I know that it’s no Urbanspoon but you have to start somewhere… and where better to start than munchkin land. I know exactly where to go from here. I just need to follow the yellow brick road…
I’m not sure Steve Jobs would hire me quite yet. Until then, I will continue entertaining myself with some fun iPhone development. I’ve discovered that Stanford had an iPhone course and all of the material is online (Stanford iPhone Development Course). Maybe I should give an iPhone class at the IDC when I’m knowledgeable enough…
When I come up with something more exciting, it will be posted here. Meanwhile I did the very basic “Hello Stanford” homework assignment in Kramer style.
Welcome to my first ever product review. I’m reviewing a product called i2i Stream which is a device that streams audio wirelessly. The i2i package includes two small devices. By connecting one device to an audio output and one device to your earphones, you can stream audio wirelessly up to 30ft away.
